T1 Staff

Mike has been playing, coaching, scouting and spectating rugby football since his early days at the University of Connecticut where he first gave it a try as part of the (at the time) nationally ranked Huskies. After four years there, several post-grad tourneys and the beginning of a family, Mike transitioned from primarily athlete to primarily "Rugby Dad" of 3 and coach. Mike's children all currently play rugby football including his oldest daughter who has 3 collegiate national championship rings (Bowdoin College), his second who was called up from the USMA in West Point, NY to the US Junior National Team (USJNT U20) in the Summer of 2023 as well as his son who has recently rejoined the action with the Morris Rugby Club. Mike coaches for the Morris Rugby in their perennial Top 10 nationally ranked High School Girls program, is one of the founders and current operations lead of the Elite Girls Rugby League (the largest US Based Rugby League for HS Girls) and was recently appointed to the USJNT as a member of their staff with an emphasis on Strength, Conditioning and Player Welfare.
